We’re all working more hours, and its tough to find time to cook.  However, it doesn’t take long.  Fifteen minutes a day can get you healthy, affordable food.  But it takes a little planning and that’s key!

What helps is thinking “What can I prepare today that I can eat throughout the week?  What are the things I can freeze?”

Just like anything else you want to get good at,  you have to practice cooking to become proficient.  So get in that kitchen and start making some clean eating meals.  Try this recipe out:  This is my summer slim down favorite!

Baked Lemon Flaxseed Tilapia

Ingredients

2-6oz raw tilapia

2 egg whites

3 tbsp of ground flaxseed

1tbsp of black ground pepper

1tsp of sea salt

a couple wedges of lemon

Directions:

1.  Preheat over to 375 degrees

2.  Place tilapia covered in egg whites in a glass dish

3.  Dredge in flaxseed, garlic, pepper and salt.

4.  Squeeze lemon over top

5.  Bake for 15-20mins (until flakes is opaque)
